Welcome to Estacada School District
Estacada School District provides a quality school environment for 2300 public school students. Our service area covers a surprising geographic area of more than 750 square miles of rural Oregon countryside in the Clackamas River area and includes considerable portions of the Mt. Hood National Forest.
Public Notice: January 14th, 2010
Estacada School District and the Department of Oregon Public Health would like to remind everyone that H1N1 flu vaccine is now widely available and recommended to prevent this potentially serious infection. Vaccination against seasonal flu is also a good idea.
“Vaccination is the best way to prevent another wave of flu in Oregon,” says Mel Kohn, MD, MPH, Oregon Public Health director. “Flu activity will continue into the winter and spring. It’s time for everyone who hasn’t been vaccinated to do so now, and we now have programs in place to make sure everyone can get a flu shot.”
People who need to be vaccinated against seasonal and H1N1 flu, but can’t afford it, can call the Oregon Public Health Flu hotline at 800-978-3040 for a location or use the flu locator at www.flu.oregon.gov.
Personal hygiene and avoiding contact with sick people is still recommended as the best way of preventing transmission of communicable diseases such as influenza. Flu like symptoms include acute respiratory illness, such as fever greater than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, plus cough or sore throat. Other possible symptoms are runny nose, feeling very lethargic, loss of appetite, and in some cases, nausea, vomiting , and diarrhea.
Estacada School District does not discriminate against an individual's race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, age or disability.

2008-2009 State Report Cards
ODE is proud to issue the 11th annual school Report Card which include two significant changes: a simplified rating system for schools and a new description of how much students have learned from year to year called a "Growth Model." These ratings cannot tell you everything about your school but are a good starting point for talking about our successes and opportunities for improvement.
